Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties at the end of shifts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service for all guests

Skills





- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, cash handling, and upselling opportunities
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills to ensure clear guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant setting
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving techniques, guest services, and hospitality principles
