V&J; Plant Shop has been a staple at the Granville Island Public Market for 45 years. Our family run business is looking for a Store Assistant who will share our commitment to exceptional customer service and floral expertise. Our environment requires candidates to thrive in a fast-paced workplace. Previous flower shop experience is an asset but not mandatory.

Candidates MUST

- have a minimum 3 years retail or restaurant experience
- be comfortable on their feet for the full work day and capable of lifting 50+lbs.
- be fluent in written and spoken English

We are currently seeking employees looking for full time work. Our store is open from 9am-7pm so open availability is a must. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get a foot in the door of the floral industry and work their way from the bottom up.
