Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers at the counter with a friendly attitude, taking orders and providing product recommendations through upselling techniques
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates to uphold quality standards
Requirements
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
