Alo Food Group and CookUnity are looking for reliable, detail-oriented Food Platers to join our food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for plating and portioning prepared meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety.

What You’ll Do:

- Plate and portion prepared food according to established recipes and production guidelines.
- Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced food production team.
- Ensure meals are presented consistently and meet quality standards.
- Follow portion-control, labeling, and food-handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with general food production duties as required.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Important Working Environment: This position requires working inside a refrigerated/cold environment for extended periods of time.



Employees must be comfortable working in a fridge/cold room and standing for prolonged periods while performing repetitive plating and production tasks.

Appropriate protective clothing and equipment will be provided as required.

What We’re Looking For:

- Previous food production, kitchen, catering, or food-plating experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated/cold environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
