Join Cenovus as a skilled Wapiti Operator within our Northern Corridor Operations team. Candidates will ensure efficient and safe operations of oil batteries and wells in Grande Prairie.

This full time position focuses on the optimization and operation of the Wapiti oil battery and related fields. The successful candidate will manage call-outs, enhance production, and lead safety practices with minimal supervision. Your experience will be crucial in conducting hazard assessments and maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate and troubleshoot oil wells and compression systems • Optimize production while identifying improvement opportunities • Conduct hazard assessments and lead safety protocols • Manage call-outs and minimize operational issues • Supervise contractors during maintenance and startup activities

Requirements: • Legally authorized to work in Canada • Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas • Grade 12 education or equivalent • Experience with oil treating and compression • Proven ability to work independently
