Seeking a dedicated Director of Care for Hospice Niagara in Fort Erie to provide leadership in hospice palliative care. This full time role concentrates on shaping a culturally safe environment for residents.

The Director of Care will lead a 10-suite residence, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-quality care. Working closely with the Medical Director and community partners, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care while fostering positive community relationships. This position demands both clinical expertise and a commitment to improving service delivery in collaboration with our diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:



• Guide the interdisciplinary clinical team • Drive the implementation of best practices and policies • Foster equity and cultural safety throughout operations • Manage the utilization of resources effectively • Oversee education and professional development initiatives

Requirements: • Valid Registered Nurse license in Ontario • Degree in Nursing with a focus on leadership • At least 5 years of clinical management experience • Knowledge of Indigenous health practices • Ability to communicate effectively in English
