RBC is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen its Wealth Management SRE Team. Focus on automation and observability in a fast-paced, full time role in Toronto.

This senior position demands a hands-on engineer with a solid background in production operations and reliability engineering. You will implement observability practices, enhance incident response strategies, and advise on reliable, self-healing operations that impact both internal stakeholders and clients. With a focus on collaborative team work, you are expected to drive innovations in system monitoring and operational practices.

Key Responsibilities:



• Build and improve intelligent monitoring systems • Design and implement automated response solutions • Collaborate with teams on incident management practices • Develop custom tooling for operational efficiency • Analyze performance metrics and enhance visibility

Requirements: • 5+ years in Site Reliability or DevOps roles • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field • Experience in automation with Ansible, Bash, and Python • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures • Familiarity with AIOps and intelligent automation
