Food Truck Operations & Prep Assistant

Greek n’ Go is looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking Food Truck Operations & Prep Assistant to help keep our food trucks stocked, clean, organized, and ready for service each day.

This is an independent, hands-on position with a flexible schedule. Your main responsibility is making sure our food trucks have everything they need and are completely ready to open before 11:00 AM each day.

Schedule & Hours

- 4–5 days per week ( you choose)
- Approximately 25–35 hours per week
- Approximately 3–6 hours per day
- Flexible schedule
- Work can be completed late at night after the food trucks close or early in the morning
- All assigned trucks must be fully stocked, organized, and ready before 11:00AM
- Daily hours may vary depending on what needs to be completed

Main Responsibilities
- Visit our food truck locations and collect dirty dishes, containers, and equipment
- Transport dishes back to our commercial kitchen
- Give dishes to our dishwasher or wash them when required
- Follow the daily restocking list provided by each food truck
- Pick up prepared food and supplies from our commercial kitchen
- Deliver and properly stock food and supplies in each food truck
- Restock takeout boxes, packaging, and other supplies
- Change fryer oil approximately once per week
- Occasionally make small shopping or wholesale supply runs
- Keep the food trucks clean and organized




- Report any missing supplies or issues to management
- Make sure everything is fully prepared and ready for the opening team

Driving & Pay Driving is required for this position.

- $22/hour when using our company vehicle (pick up truck)-
- $23/hour if you use your own reliable vehicle
- Gas expenses are covered/reimbursed by the company when using your own vehicle for work
- If using our company vehicle, you will be added to our company insurance

You must be comfortable driving between our commercial kitchen, food truck locations, and occasionally wholesale/supplier locations.

Requirements

- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable driving regularly
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Organized and able to follow daily checklists carefully
- Able to lift and move boxes, food containers, dishes, and supplies
- Flexible availability for early mornings and/or late evenings
- Responsible and able to manage your time efficiently
- Restaurant, food truck, kitchen, delivery, or operations experience is an asset but not required

This is a great position for someone who enjoys working independently and having flexibility with their schedule. As long as all assigned duties are completed properly and the food trucks are fully stocked, clean, organized, and ready before opening, there is flexibility in when the work is completed. Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
