Premier Building Solutions Ltd. (PBS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to join our construction team on our project in Dead Man’s Flats, Alberta.

The Foreman will support the Site Superintendent and Project Team with day-to-day coordination and supervision of site activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction qualified with strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise and coordinate daily activities of labourers, trades, subcontractors, and site personnel.

· Work closely with the Site Superintendent to coordinate daily and weekly construction activities.

· Assist with maintaining project schedules and ensuring work is progressing according to plan.

· Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and details.

· Coordinate deliveries, materials, equipment, and site logistics.

· Monitor workmanship and identify quality-control issues before they become deficiencies.

· Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company and project safety requirements.

· Conduct daily site walk-throughs and communicate outstanding items to the Site Superintendent.

· Assist with site organization, cleanliness, and material storage.

· Help coordinate subcontractors and ensure they are working in accordance with the project schedule.

· Identify potential issues, delays, or conflicts and communicate them promptly to the Site Superintendent.

· Assist with tracking deficiencies, rework, and completion of outstanding items.





· Provide hands-on assistance with construction activities when required.

· Maintain a qualified and respectful working relationship with subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and the project team.

· Promote a positive, safety-focused, and productive site culture.

· Perform other duties as required to support successful project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or Senior Construction Labourer.

· Carpentry experience is considered an asset.

· Strong understanding of general construction practices and site operations.

· Experience working on multi-family, commercial, or wood-frame construction projects is an asset.

· Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

· Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

· Physically capable of working on an active construction site.

· Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

· Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle required.





· Ability to travel to and work in Dead Man’s Flats, Alberta.

· Construction safety certifications such as CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid, or equivalent are considered an asset.

This is a site-based position and the successful candidate must have reliable transportation to and from the project site.
