We’re currently looking for a Toronto/GTA-based freelance content creator and video editor to support an upcoming restaurant client shoot.
We’re looking for someone with a strong eye for social content who can capture engaging footage and turn it into ready-to-post videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
We care more about the quality of your content, creativity and understanding of social media than what equipment you use.
This is initially a one-day project, but we’re looking to build relationships with reliable Toronto-based creators who we can work with across future client projects and potentially recurring monthly shoots.
Project Scope:
- One approximately 6-hour content day at a restaurant in the GTA
- Capture content based on a shot list and creative direction provided by our agency
- Capture enough footage to create 25 unique short-form videos
- Edit and deliver 25 completed vertical videos optimized for Instagram Reels and TikTok
- Incorporate text, music, transitions and other social-first editing where appropriate
- Basic colour and audio adjustments where needed
- Export all final videos in ready-to-post vertical format
Our team will provide the overall content strategy, concepts and shot list.
We’re looking for someone who can bring those ideas to life while also bringing their own creative eye to the content.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels and current short-form content styles
- Strong eye for capturing engaging, aesthetically pleasing content
- Comfortable filming content on either a phone or camera
- Confident editing short-form social content
- Able to work efficiently and capture multiple concepts during one content day
- Solid communication and reliability
- Ability to meet agreed-upon turnaround times
- Based in Toronto/GTA and available for an in-person shoot
- Restaurant, food or hospitality content experience is preferred but not required
Deliverables: 25 fully edited short-form vertical videos ready for posting on Instagram and TikTok.
We are looking for 25 completed videos, not 25 raw clips.
