LMC is looking for a part-time French teacher. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to join our school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating students ages from 3 years to 6 years in the French language, fostering a love for the language and culture, and enhancing their communication skills. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Educate students in the fundamentals of the French language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Provide tutoring and additional support to students who may need extra help.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting respect and inclusivity among students.
Requirements
- High School or University degree specialization in French.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in both English and French.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles is advantageous.
- Experience in special education is a plus but not mandatory.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
