Summary

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Front of House & Takeout Attendant to join our team at Shinka Sushi Bar.

This position focuses primarily on takeout and delivery order management while also assisting with general front-of-house duties. Responsibilities include packing and checking orders, processing payments, answering phone calls, assisting customers at the counter, and checking in dine-in guests.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers at the door and counter
- Check in dine-in guests and confirm reservations
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with orders, reservations, and general questions
- Take customer orders and process debit, credit, and cash payments
- Manage takeout and delivery orders, including Uber Eats
- Pack orders carefully and double-check accuracy before handing them to customers or delivery drivers
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
- Stock shelves, cabinets, takeout supplies, and sauces as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete opening,



closing, and general cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience required
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude
- Comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone
- Comfortable handling debit, credit, and cash payments
- Experience with POS systems and delivery platforms is an asset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a quick-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, especially when packing and checking orders
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual

Availability

- Must have open availability on both Saturdays and Sundays

Position Details

- Pay based on experience
