Position Overview

We are seeking a senior Full Stack .NET Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience to join a leading enterprise project team based in Toronto. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and scaling critical financial and banking applications. The ideal candidate will bring solid full-stack expertise across backend APIs, legacy components, web servers, relational databases, and version control systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack web applications using C# , VB.NET , and the MS .NET Framework (MVC) .
- Build and optimize backend relational database solutions using MS SQL Server , including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Configure, manage, and deploy application interfaces hosted on IIS (Internet Information Services) web servers.




- Maintain and write code across both up-to-date object-oriented languages ( C# , Java ) and legacy codebases ( VB.NET ).
- Manage source code, version branching, and team collaboration using Git and Bitbucket .
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams to translate financial business requirements into scalable software architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience Level: 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software engineering.
- Financial Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct experience developing enterprise application solutions within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Primary Tech Stack: Extensive experience with MS .NET Framework , MVC Architecture , C# , VB.NET , and Java .
- Database Management: 5+ years of strong expertise in MS SQL Server database development and query optimization.
- Infrastructure & Hosting: Proven experience configuring and managing web deployments on IIS servers.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git and Bitbucket for source control and team workflows.
