Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre seeks FULL TIME Heart Failure / Atrial Fibrillation / Cardiac Rehab Nurse with strong Cardiology experience with office based nursing experience or research based nursing experience. Ability to think problem solve, prioritize, demonstrate proficiency in computer communications, self-directed, independent work. Demonstrated excellence in communication, organization, & collaboration.

The nurse will work in cardiac rehab, work with other RNs in the heart failure clinic, and some clinical research responsibilities.

Heart Failure Nurse job entails:

- Following and caring for heart failure patients
- Following and caring for patients with Atrial fibrillation
- Following algorithms
- Performing ECGs
- Answering patient questions by phone or in person or by Virtual care
- Responding to other physicians offices and Pharmacy Queries
- IV starts
- Independent Limited Physical exams

Cardiac Rehab: Supervise cardiac rehab classes Group teaching of cardiac related topics

Nursing Intakes, and out-take visits for Cardiac rehab

Answer health related questions under the supervision of a cardiologist

Requirements

- RN in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario




- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
- Cardiology, ICU, ER or office based experience
- Valid Ontario Nursing Licence
- Ability to think critically, solve situations based on protocols and algorithms
- Work independently
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Hours: Monday to Fri 8:00am -5pm, 5 Days a week PAY- Matching ONA rates

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$58.98 per hour
