The Community Engagement
Facilitator will ensure that community voices shape the creation and implementation of the Child Well-Being Law. You will lead creative engagement activities, facilitate discussions with Elders and families, and collect critical feedback. Working within the framework of Anishinaabe values, this position deeply impacts families' wellness and self-determination. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Year 1 Community Engagement initiatives
- Facilitate inclusive sessions with various community members
- Document experiences, themes,
and needs assessment
- Collaborate with the Coordinator on project deliverables
- Develop transparent communication materials and reports Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in relevant fields like Indigenous Studies
- Minimum of 3-5 years in community engagement roles
- Familiarity with Indigenous cultural traditions and teachings
- Proficient in MS Office and report writing
