Fullstack Shopify Developer

Contract ~ Position to be filled as soon as possible ~40 hours per week ~ Salary based on profile and experience Responsibilities Define and analyze client needs, particularly in an e‑commerce context. Design, configure, and customize Shopify stores (Storefront, Shopify Admin, Shopify Apps). Develop custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind.

Build and maintain custom Shopify applications using Node.js, TypeScript or Python (Django). Integrate third‑party APIs (REST, GraphQL) and optimize data flows between Shopify and external systems. Oversee solution implementation and collaborate with design, marketing and development teams.

Perform functional testing, write test cases, and ensure quality of deliverables. Ensure tracking, communication and reporting of work progress to stakeholders. Provide maintenance, debugging and user support to maintain platform stability.

Act as trusted partner to clients, offering technical guidance and e‑commerce recommendations. Contribute to continuous optimisation of performance, UX, SEO and conversion rates across Shopify stores.

Qualifications At least 5 years experience in web development, preferably e‑commerce. Strong expertise in Shopify ecosystem, including Liquid, Polaris, Admin and Storefront APIs.



Ability to adapt rapidly to new technical environments and evolving online commerce needs. Excellent communication skills and analytical, solution‑oriented thinking. Methodical task organisation and ability to meet deadlines in an agile environment.

Fluent

French language skills, with good proficiency in English for communication with English‑speaking stakeholders. Solid knowledge of front‑end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind, Webpack. Solid knowledge of back‑end technologies: Node.js, Nest.js or equivalent, Python/Django.

Knowledge of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

Experience with API integration: REST, GraphQL, Webhooks.

Experience in e‑commerce integrations: Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify Apps, OAuth.
