We’re building a professional garage door installation and service company serving Halifax and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for a Garage Door Installer to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with customers, and wants the opportunity to grow with a company from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Install residential and commercial garage doors
- Install garage door openers and accessories
- Diagnose and repair garage door systems
- Replace springs, cables, rollers, tracks and hardware
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
- Complete new-construction and replacement installations
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and work area
- Provide professional, friendly service to customers
- Follow company safety and installation procedures
What We're Looking For Garage door experience is preferred, but we're willing to consider mechanically inclined candidates with strong construction experience.
You should have
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Construction or installation experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools confidently
- Good problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
