Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable driver to operate a pick up truck all the way up to a boom truck. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, a keen attention to safety, and experience operating a forklift and / or crane in a variety of environments. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various locations, ensuring proper loading and unloading, and adhering to all relevant safety and road regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a pick up truck up to a boom truck to load and unload materials at job sites.

Transport goods to and from designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.

Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and crane are in proper working condition.

Secure cargo properly on the flatbed truck to prevent damage during transportation.

Operate the crane to load and unload heavy materials from the flatbed, ensuring safe handling of goods.

Follow all company policies and safety guidelines while on the road and at the job site.

Maintain logs of trips, inspections, and deliveries.

Ensure the truck is properly maintained, and report any mechanical issues.

Assist in organizing materials on site when needed.

Required Qualifications:





Valid G Class or DZ driver’s license (or equivalent).

Experience driving a flatbed truck and operating a crane.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.

Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Previous experience in the transportation or construction industry is an asset.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

Crane certification (an asset)

Previous experience in long-haul or regional driving.

Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry materials up to 60 lb.

Comfortable working on-site in all weather conditions.

Must be able to sit and drive for extended periods.
