Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Gas Station Attendant to provide exceptional service at our retail location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized station, assisting customers with their needs, and ensuring smooth operations at the pump and cashier areas. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and sales skills in a rapid-paced retail environment, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently
- Operate POS systems for cash handling and processing transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the station, including pumps, store area, and restrooms
- Restock merchandise and ensure product displays are organized and appealing
- Conduct product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Manage phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or in person
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy while adhering to security procedures
- Monitor fuel levels and report maintenance needs or safety hazards




- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Qualifications

- Robust communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems and merchandising practices is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy workplace with good time management skills
- Organizational skills to keep the station clean, stocked, and well-maintained
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products through friendly persuasion and product knowledge
- Multilingual abilities are considered a valuable asset for serving diverse customers
- Professional appearance with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
