Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases at the cashier station and throughout the store
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments while handling cash responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring merchandise is well-stocked and displays are appealing
- Conduct product demos or upselling when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage fuel transactions at the pump, including activating pumps and assisting customers with fueling needs
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with store policies during all transactions and interactions

Skills and qualifications ​

- Strong communication skills in English for clear interaction with customers and team members




- Ability to legally work full time in Canada
- Ability ​ to work the evening shift 5 nights per week from 2pm to 10 pm.
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles within convenience stores or gas station
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling,
- basicc math for accurate transactions, and merchandising techniques
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication standards
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume hours
