Overview:

We are seeking skilled A-Ticket Gasfitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, annual maintenance procedures, and installation of MUAs, Boilers, and various fuel fired equipment.

The candidate also needs to possess the willingness to teach apprentices the proper procedures when working on fuel-fired equipment and be looked at as a mentor for the next generation of apprentices.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair fuel-fired equipment in accordance to manufacture and provincial standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with fuel-fired equipment and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
- Conduct routine inspections of fuel-fired equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.
- Perform plumbing tasks as needed for fuel-fired equipment installations or repairs.
- Perform Start-Up and Inspections with ITS Inspectors.




- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on larger projects to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Qualification:

- Manitoba A-Ticket certification or equivalent.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, procedures and use this training and experience to teach the next generation of apprentices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various fuel-fired equipment.
- Familiarity with gas piping installation and code.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Experience in oil-fired equipment repair is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license.
- Other provincial tickets or Red-Seal certification is considered an asset.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
