Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Helper to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will support various operational tasks to ensure smooth warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving processes. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation will be essential in assisting with order picking, loading, unloading, and managing inventory.

Responsibilities

- Assist with loading and unloading shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other heavy machinery
- Support order picking activities accurately and efficiently within the warehouse management system
- Help organize and store inventory in designated areas following safety and organizational standards
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting, moving, and stacking goods in compliance with safety protocols
- Aid in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing items against documentation




- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the warehouse environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and support construction or maintenance projects as needed

Qualifications

- Prior warehouse experience or construction background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or load & unload machinery
- Experience with warehouse distribution systems and warehouse management system software is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Familiarity with order picker operations and shipping & receiving procedures
- Valid certifications for forklift operation or heavy equipment (if applicable) are advantageous
- Robust teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency
