Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food handling environments is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic culinary setting.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Support in organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients for efficient workflow
- Help with serving food to guests or customers when needed
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as required




- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained after use
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or hospitality roles will be considered a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
