Action Tire & Auto is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as a Shop General Labourer. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in getting started in the automotive repair industry—no previous automotive experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Organize, move and manage customers’ stored tires
- Load and unload tires and other shop materials
- Keep the shop, storage areas and workspaces clean and organized
- Sweep floors, remove waste and assist with general shop cleanup
- Restock supplies and ensure commonly used items are readily available
- Assist the team with other general duties as required
- Follow all workplace safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence
- Ability to safely perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day, including lifting, carrying,
bending and standing
- Dependable, punctual and ready to work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization and safety
- Previous automotive experience is not required
Position Details This is a two-month contract position. For the right person, there may be an chance for the role to develop into longer-term employment.
