ServiceMaster Restore of Medicine Hat is a locally owned and operated division of the ServiceMaster Franchise. We specialize in Emergency Services after floods, fires, natural disasters and traumas with both commercial and personal properties. We are currently hiring a Restoration/Demolition Technician, someone who is looking for long term work and also interested in required courses to become a Water Technician and more.

Applicant will be working on the Emergency side of the business as well as the Rebuild of properties.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Demolition Technician/Laborers to join our restoration for a project. This role involves responding to emergency services involving water and fire losses. As the first on site your role will involve being compassionate with the homeowner and their situation. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environment. This job posting is for a temporary position lasting aproximately 4 weeks.

Demolition

- Perform selective interior demolition (drywall, flooring, cabinets, framing, etc.).
- Assist in structural tear-outs while maintaining job-site safety.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Sort and dispose of materials according to regulations.
- Must have basic knowledge of tools and home construction.

General

- Follow safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures. Must get FIT Tested and be comfortable wearing a mask.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.




- You are responsible for your own transportation to get to and from work.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in water mitigation, demolition, construction, or restoration preferred (not required).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in diverse environments (heights, confined spaces, wet conditions, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Clean Criminal Record Check and must be bondable
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Schedule

- Monday–Friday 8am - 5pm. MUST BE RELAIBLE!!
