We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform a variety of physical tasks to support construction, maintenance, or manufacturing projects. Responsibilities
- Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work area
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing tools and supplies needed for various tasks
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision, adhering to safety standards
- Transport materials within the work site using carts or forklifts if certified and trained
- Perform routine inspections of work areas and report any hazards or issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in general labour, construction, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in manual labour roles is advantageous
