Reporting to the Production Manager and shop floor Supervisors, the General Labourer will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our Manufacturing and Shipping Departments.

This role requires dedication, perseverance, hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety in the workplace. The possibility of advancement is there for the taking for the motivated candidate.

Responsibilities:

· You will perform the following Production activities:

- You will sort, pack, crate and package materials and products for shipping.
- You will be delivering, unloading, and staging product for all work sites
- You will properly empty garbage containers, sweep work areas, and general Plant housekeeping.
- You will clean machines, tools, vehicles and immediate work areas.
- You will assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers.
- You will follow Occupational Health and Safety Act, Code, Regulations, and our company’s Health and Safety policies.
- You will do other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- You have a willingness to learn.
- You are punctual.
- You are dependable and reliable.
- You have reliable transportation.
- You know how to properly and safely operate small hand tools (powered and manual).
- You have a Class 5 drivers licence with a clean abstract.

Working Conditions:

- You will work between 32- 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- You are required to wear PPE and CSA approved steel-toe boots.
- You are able to work additional hours when required (must be pre-approved by Production Manager).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
