We’re looking for a General Manager to lead our Affinity Insurance Services subsidiary. We want a strategic, growth-minded leader with strong industry relationships and a proven ability to drive organizational transformation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring experience leading large teams, implementing operational improvements, and delivering measurable business results.
What you’ll do
- Manages and oversees the continued success and growth of Affinity Insurance Services. Oversight includes profit and loss accountability and business direction, ensuring KPI metrics are met and opportunities for performance optimization are identified and implemented
- Directs all initiatives that impact the portfolio, as well as relationship management responsibility for partner relationships; serves as liaison and primary contact between organization and business partners, vendors, and Centres of Influence (COIs)
- Collaborates with stakeholders to represent the portfolio's interests and develop and support organizational growth strategies, ensuring business objectives are reflected in key initiatives that drive new opportunities, increase revenue, and strengthen brand presence
- Provides strategic people leadership by coaching, mentoring, and developing branch managers and their teams across the organization, driving employee growth,
engagement, and operational excellence
- Leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of business plans, priorities, and budgets to support the achievement of portfolio objectives

What you’ve got
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus a minimum of 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, the broker model and regulatory compliance, as well as specialized knowledge of subsidiary business models
- Advanced knowledge and experience of business management, including profitability, operations, finance, and marketing
- Industry leading sales ability in growing a book, achieving targets, making referrals, and building a pipeline using a client centric approach
- Ability to lead, engage, and coach employees, set transparent expectations, review progress, provide feedback and guidance, and hold people accountable to achieve client centric outcomes
