Senior Project Manager – Industrial, Commercial & Large-Scale Residential ConstructionMatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager on behalf of a well-established General Contractor with a strong portfolio of industrial, commercial, and large‑scale residential projects across British Columbia.This role leads complex projects from pre‑construction through closeout, overseeing project financials, schedules, subcontractor coordination, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring safe, timely, and budget‑constrained delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead projects through all construction phases, from pre‑construction planning to final turnover.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.Monitor performance and proactively manage risks, opportunities, and project challenges.Ensure project objectives are achieved with respect to schedule, budget, quality, and safety.Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to project teams.Financial & Contract ManagementManage project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.Review and administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.Negotiate and manage scope changes and contractual obligations.Track costs and ensure financial targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.Client & Stakeholder ManagementPrimary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.Build and maintain strong working relationships throughout project execution.Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on status, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate with architects, engineers, municipalities, and regulatory authorities.Construction OperationsCollaborate closely with Site Superintendents to ensure efficient execution.Manage subcontractor procurement,



performance, and coordination.Review RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and project documentation.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.Qualifications10+ years of construction project management experience with a General Contractor.Proven experience delivering industrial, commercial, institutional, or large‑scale residential projects.Successful management of multi‑million‑dollar projects from start to finish.Solid understanding of financial management, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.Experience with CCDC contracts, change management, and project controls.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Degree, diploma, or technical education in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline is an asset.Knowledge of BC permitting, development, and municipal approval processes is an asset.CompensationBase salary: $120,000 – $145,000 annually.Performance‑based bonus.Comprehensive benefits package, RRSP matching program, paid vacation, and professional development opportunities.Equal OpportunitiesMatchBox is committed to providing equal opportunities for all applicants.
