Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Public Affairs Advisor to manage their government relations and stakeholder engagement efforts in Kimberley . This role requires a deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape, coupled with exceptional communication and advocacy skills. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key government officials, industry bodies, and community leaders to advance the company's interests. This position is office-based in Kimberley , offering direct engagement and a central role in shaping public policy perception. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement public affairs strategies to support organizational objectives. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the company. Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders. Represent the company in industry associations and public forums. Prepare briefings, position papers, and advocacy materials for key audiences.
Provide strategic counsel on public affairs matters to senior management. Requirements
Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or public policy advocacy. In-depth knowledge of the political and legislative processes. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
