Duties
- Operate glazing machinery and heavy equipment to assemble window frames and install glass panels with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to secure glass into window frames according to specifications.
- Conduct machining and assembly tasks to ensure proper fit and finish of window components.
- Perform quality checks on finished products, inspecting for defects or inconsistencies in glazing and assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members on production line tasks to meet daily output goals efficiently.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating manufacturing or heavy equipment.
- Prior warehouse or construction experience preferred, especially with power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with machining, welding, and assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods while maintaining focus on detail-oriented tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing production needs.
