Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, or designate, the Grader Operator will provide support and assistance to Cambria Gold Mines with winter snow removal. This role will foster a health and safety culture of ‘No Harm’ while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental provincial and federal regulations, legislations, and policies.

Duties
- Protected and efficient operation of equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and completes daily logbook.
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition and report any issues that require attention.
- Communicate professionally with other team members in person and on the radio.
- Upholds and follows safety policies, procedures, regulations,
hazard identification and promotes safety awareness through day-to-day attitudes and actions.
- Adjusts and establishes daily tasks to meet changing orders of priorities.
- Utilizes safeguards, safety appliances and personal protective equipment or devices.
- Navigate construction job site terrain.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- A valid Class 5 BC driver's license or equivalent at minimum.
- A Class 3 or Class 1 Commercial Driver's License is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
- Proven experience operating graders in construction or civil engineering projects is an asset.
- Construction experience involving paving projects or roadwork is an asset.
- Experience operating in areas with heavy precipitation is preferred.
Pay: $46.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.0 per week
