About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our team!In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in accounting, finance, and business analysis to deliver accurate forecasting and exceptional management reporting. You’ll work closely with operational teams to review profitability, develop budgets, and build financial models for the OCS.As a critical business partner, you’ll collaborate across functions to provide insights that drive informed decision-making. You’ll also play a key role in identifying and developing current processes, enhancing reporting, and deepening our understanding of the company’s financial landscape.About Your DaySupport the development of the budget, forecast, and a three-year plan for OCSDevelop modelling and other key analyses to drive initiatives, monitor trends, and identify exceptionsIdentify, quantify and address risks and opportunities to business resultsAssist with preparing various financial analysis and presentations for senior leadersUtilize the financial planning tool to deliver standardized monthly reporting for management, including revenue and cost analysis, perform budget reviews (actual vs. budget) forecasting, and business analyticsFoster and develop strategic business partnerships with functional and departmental leaders, with ability to communicate financials and operational impacts into simple language for all business partnersLead the development of new processes and new reporting to better understand the company’s financial landscapeExecute against ad hoc analytical projects that deepen business insight and drive value within the OCSIdentify and recommend improvements to the FP&A processes for greater efficiencyAssist with special FP&A projects as neededAbout YouPost-Secondary education in Finance or Accounting or related fields; Bachelor’s Degreein business (Accounting & Finance) is preferred5+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting and/or; 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & AnalysisMicrosoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferredExperience with MS Power Bi is an assetExperience budgeting/forecasting and reporting using a financial planning tool such as OneStream, Oracle, Cognos is an assetRetail experience is preferredA recognized accounting accreditation [CA/CMA/CGA/CPA]Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills to provide professional analysis and recommendationsExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to develop superior working relationships, confidence and acceptance with all management and staff throughout the OCSStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize dutiesStrong communication and collaboration to work across all levels of the organization including senior management and the senior leadership teamExperience with preparing presentation that effectively communicates to senior management with attention to detailAbout the JobLocation: Toronto, ON near York Mills and Yonge StreetHours of Work: 36.25 a weekEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentRequired Travel: Rare, usually within the GTACompensationThe target hiring range for this position is $80,000- $100,000. This is a pay grade 6 role, with a salary range of $71,777.30 - $107,379.8.
