Job Overview The Granite and Quartz Shop Hand and Polisher completes the final touch-ups, edge polishing, and quality inspection on stone slabs processed by our CNC router. This role is responsible for ensuring every piece meets high-quality standards before it leaves the shop, while also maintaining an organized and safe work environment. We are looking for an individual who is a great fit for our team-oriented environment, communicates well, and takes pride in a job well done.Key Responsibilities

- CNC Edge Touch-Ups & Finishing: Use wet/dry hand polishers and pads to blend, refine, and perfect the edges and profiles pre-cut by the CNC router.
- Surface Inspection & Repair: Thoroughly inspect finished stone pieces for any CNC tooling marks, scratches, or dull spots, and buff out minor flaws.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, move, and stack heavy stone slabs using proper shop equipment and manual lifting.




- Shop Upkeep: Keep work areas transparent of slurry and dust, and perform daily maintenance on tools and water systems.
- Production Support: Help prepare slabs for the CNC machine and collaborate with the team to stage finished pieces for installation.

Qualifications & Skills
- Team Player: Positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed in a cooperative, fast-paced team environment.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs when required. (Note: The shop is equipped with jib cranes and forklifts to assist with heavy material handling).
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional eye for detail to spot and correct minor imperfections on granite and quartz surfaces.
- Manual Dexterity: Steady hand and good coordination to operate hand power tools evenly.
- Safety Mindset: Strict adherence to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (waterproof gear, safety glasses, respirators).
- Experience: Experience in a stone shop or manufacturing environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
