Overview
Turpone Group has launched an innovative line of Martha Stewart food products in Canada and the U.S. and is seeking a creative, motivated, detail-oriented and organized Intermediate Graphic Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will develop polished visual executions across consumer branding, packaging, digital, e-commerce, marketing and retail, while translating creative direction into high-quality work consistent with established brand guidelines.
Packaging will represent approximately 40% of the role. The position is well suited to a designer with 3–5 years of professional experience who can work independently, manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with internal teams, licensors, external agencies, vendors and other partners. Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, retail or related consumer-product categories is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high-quality visual designs across branding, packaging, marketing, digital, e-commerce and retail materials.
- Create layouts with robust typography, hierarchy, color and composition, ensuring consistency across brand touchpoints.
- Design and adapt consumer-product packaging in accordance with established brand standards and project requirements.
- Work with packaging dielines and prepare accurate, production-ready files for printers, vendors and other production partners.
- Support pre-press and print-production processes, including file preparation, revisions, proof review and production coordination as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams, licensors,
external agencies and vendors to maintain brand consistency, quality and project timelines.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience in an in-house, agency or comparable commercial environment.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Demonstrated experience in packaging design and production, including working with dielines and preparing production-ready files.
- Demonstrated strength in concept development, layout design, typography and visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across multiple brands and formats.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and deadlines with limited supervision.
- Strong organizational, communication and time-management skills.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Experience / Assets
- Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, retail or another consumer-products category.
- Experience working in a small-to-medium-sized or entrepreneurial business environment.
- Strong packaging and print-production knowledge, including dielines, pre-press and vendor-ready files.
- Proficiency using Figma.
Portfolio Requirement Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating the following:
- Strong conceptual thinking and visual design skills.
- Examples of brand systems, layouts and digital or e-commerce design.
- Examples of packaging and print work that demonstrate attention to detail, understanding of dielines and production considerations.
- Work that shows the ability to apply established brand guidelines consistently across multiple formats and touchpoints.
Work Location
- This position requires in-person attendance during the first 3 months. Following this initial period, the position may transition to a hybrid work schedule, depending on the successful candidate's preference and the requirements of the role.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
