We’re Hiring! We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Greenhouse Supervisor at our Leamington ON facility.

What You'll Do:

- Supervise daily activities of the greenhouse, including crop work, harvesting activities, and quality control.
- Schedule and oversee the greenhouse team to meet the demand and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
- Motivate and encourage the team to reach individual and company objectives.
- Provide coaching, hands-on training, and follow-up for current hires, while delivering ongoing training and development to all team members on activities and best practices to achieve departmental objectives.
- Collaborate with the Greenhouse Manager and Supervisors to ensure proper allocation of staff and work.
- Responsible for reviewing employee labor tracking system (Priva) as well as retraining employees if necessary.
- Approve/deny employee time off and timecards within deadlines required to ensure smooth completion of payroll.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure seamless continuity between production with warehouse and other departments as needed.
- Communicate and address variances, quality issues and concerns with relevant departments to help identify the causes and implement quality and efficiencies.
- Support the Greenhouse Manager to ensure operations remain within budget for labor and throughout; monitor and measure performance to minimize downtime, reduce costs i.e., reducing hours and improve quality and efficiencies.
- Complete required documentation, records, and checklists; submit to appropriate management personnel.




- Provide feedback to the greenhouse manager regarding employee performance, with respect to evaluations, and if necessary; apply progressive discipline processes for non-compliances in a respectful manner.
- Submission and follow-up of work orders for the greenhouse and oversee/coordinate general maintenance as needed.
- Deliver accurate crop projections within 10% accuracy daily.
- Monitor the work environment to ensure compliance of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and all company policies and procedures.
- Actively initiate, participate in, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee the general housekeeping of greenhouse and assigned bunk houses.
- Comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
- This highlights the main components but is not inclusive of other activities that may be required.

What You Bring:

- No formal education required; training is provided during orientation and on the job.
- Fluency in Spanish is considered an asset.
- Strong reading, writing, oral communication, and effective listening skills are essential.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a commitment to development and treating others with courtesy, sensitivity, and respect.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ability to make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion and confidentiality regarding employee and company-related matters.
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively in a rapidly growing, innovative, and evolving organization.
- Basic computer proficiency.

What To Expect:

- Fast paced greenhouse/warehouse environment where temperatures can be very hot, humid, moist or cold for most of the year.
- Exposure to various pesticides and insects including bees in the greenhouse.
- Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision throughout the workday.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Standard workdays are Monday-Saturday,



with additional hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules.
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching to perform tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry items typically ranging from 10–50 kg (22–110 lbs), depending on role requirements.
- Travel between locations may be required.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
