$15 to $20 an hour plus commission

About 3Twelve

3Twelve Beauty Lounge is a luxury spa and salon in the heart of downtown Calgary, inside the CORE Shopping Centre. We offer a full menu of hair, skin, and beauty services in a professional, high-end environment with strong foot traffic and a growing client base.

We are looking for a skilled hairstylist or barber who takes pride in their craft and is motivated to build a loyal clientele. This is a role for someone ambitious, who wants a full column and an income that grows with it.

Compensation

Guaranteed hourly base starting at $15 per hour, rising to $20 with experience and production, plus commission:

- 45% on cutting, barbering, and styling services
- 35% on colour and treatment services, where 3Twelve supplies all product
- 10% on retail sales

You never purchase your own colour stock. All backbar and colour product is supplied.

What you will do

- Deliver precision cuts, fades, hot shaves, colour, and styling to a high standard
- Build and retain your own clientele through consultations, rebooking, and referrals
- Recommend retail products and 3Twelve services that suit each client
- Maintain your station, tools, and sanitation to Alberta Health Services standards
- Work with the front desk on bookings, client notes, and follow up




- Contribute to a professional, welcoming environment for clients and team

What we are looking for

- Journeyman Hairstylist or Barber certification required
- Red Seal preferred
- Strong technical skills including fades, classic cuts, hot shaves, colour, and styling
- Drive to grow a personal clientele, with a track record of doing so
- Comfortable with retail recommendation and rebooking conversations
- Professional, warm, and client focused
- Able to stand for a full shift in a busy salon
- Available weekends including Saturday and Sunday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, plus commission
