Responsibilities

- Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety and hygiene compliance
- Engage with clients through active communication, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products that complement services and enhance client satisfaction
- Support front desk operations by scheduling appointments, managing client check-ins, and handling inquiries efficiently




- Upsell additional services or products to maximize client experience and salon revenue while maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications

- Proven experience in professional hair styling with a strong portfolio of work showcasing versatility and skill
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and foster repeat business
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper tool sterilization procedures
- Solid communication skills to clearly explain styling options and product recommendations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies is a plus
- Prior front desk or receptionist experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided
