We are seeking a hands-on Mover/Installer with a DZ license who can independently set up and tear down rental products at events, while also safely transporting our freight in company 5 Ton vehicles to venues throughout the GTA, Ontario, and Ottawa/Montreal. This is a physical, on-the-ground role — you're not just driving the truck, you're the one setting up the event on site, often solo, and getting it right the first time. Your weekly schedule will include days, evenings, and weekends.

PLEASE NOTE – Our insurance company requires that you be at least 25 years of age. You must also provide a letter from previous employer(s) confirming 3 years of previous 5 Ton driving experience, along with their insurance provider.

We're also looking for candidates with a strong, stable work history — ideally several years with the same company.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Independently set up and tear down rental products at events — reading a floor plan or event order and executing it on your own, without supervision
- Drive company vehicles including Cube Vans and 5-Ton Trucks to event sites across the GTA, Ontario, and Ottawa/Montreal
- Comply with all safety rules and procedures, and Ministry of Transportation laws
- Load and unload products, ensuring the load is safe, secure, and meets all expected standards
- Lift and move products within the warehouse and on-site, by hand and with equipment
- Confirm all required products, including ancillary items, are loaded on the truck before departure
- Prepare products for shows including cleaning, wrapping, and labeling
- Clean, install, and remove carpet
- Inspect products before installation to ensure they're in excellent condition
- On dismantle, count and check all products to confirm no damage
- Report, separate, and label any damaged or missing products prior to sign-off from the event manager
- Respond quickly to all communication from customers and management
- Assist in the warehouse with other duties as required





Qualifications/Skills

- Documented three years of experience driving DZ 5-Ton Trucks
- Valid Class DZ Driver's License with clean abstract
- Comfortable and confident working alone on-site to complete a full event setup/teardown, start to finish
- Strong mechanical/spatial sense — able to interpret an event order or layout and install products correctly without step-by-step direction
- Previous experience leading other staff is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and Ontario; able to drive to Ottawa/Montreal
- MUST be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Exceptional attention to detail in completing all paperwork
- Comfortable being the point person on smaller jobs, while also functioning as a team player on larger crews
- Professional appearance and courteous at all times
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs, repeatedly and over a full shift
- Able to troubleshoot in office quickly and effectively when something doesn't fit as expected
- Good common-sense problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills; proficient in English, verbal and written
- Friendly, positive attitude with valuable people skills
- Accountable, reliable, and dependable
- Able to be on your feet for long periods and work outdoors as required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without restrictions
