Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of hardscape elements such as pavers, stonework, retaining walls, and concrete surfaces following project plans and schematics
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to prepare sites and execute construction tasks
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate implementation
- Prepare materials by mixing concrete, setting forms, and handling masonry components with precision
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, drywall finishing, and construction painting as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or hands-on work in landscaping or masonry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry practices is a plus
- Solid physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
