We're looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join a team working on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities, where you'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Pay: CAD $53.00- $59.00 per hour DOE
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe stress analysis and design for industrial and commercial facility projects
- Develop and design equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems as part of a multi-discipline team
- Manage schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks
- Coordinate with team members to align with client scope, budget, and schedule expectations
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficiency in pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II
Preferred
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications
- Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD
