The Quality Organization is currently seeking a Resident/Quality Engineer for its Etobicoke Casting Plant located at Etobicoke, Ontario. This position offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an integral part of a company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape. The Resident/Quality Engineer is responsible for resolution of defects associated with part quality. The Resident/Quality Engineer is the lead person for part issue identification and resolution, and will lead the execution of special evaluations and quality checks to ensure quality product is delivered to the customer, and drive and support the cultural change to implement the Stellantis Production Way (SPW) operating model. The Resident/Quality Engineer will work closely with Process Planners to ensure Quality is maintained with a stable standardized casting process, and will be a high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions - a self-confident leader who, in part due to his/her personal presence, style, and demeanor, effectively sells ideas and solutions to others.
