We are seeking a level 3 (or better) dedicated Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our mechanics in various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of vehicles and machinery. This role is essential in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
The shift will be Monday-Thursday evenings from 2:00pm to 11:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repaire mechanical issues in vehicles and machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Support the team in disassembling and reassembling parts as needed for repairs.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Document work performed and report any additional issues to the lead mechanic.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.
