We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service while ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct heavy lifting and digging tasks as required for equipment installation or repair.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity.
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, HVAC, and welding techniques.
- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dealership or similar environment is a plus.
