Position Title: Heavy Machinery Dismantler

Location: Grafton, ON, Canada (Onsite)

Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent

Compensation: Under CA$30.00/hour

Role Overview

Our client is a well-established machinery company based in Grafton, Ontario, seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Heavy Machinery Dismantler. The successful candidate will dismantle heavy construction and industrial equipment, prepare machinery and components for export, and safely load equipment into shipping containers.

Key Responsibilities

- Dismantle heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, compactors, and other industrial machinery.
- Use hand and power tools to remove, organise, and prepare machine components for shipment.
- Load, position, and securely pack equipment and parts into shipping containers.
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move machinery and components safely.
- Conduct basic equipment inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Work with team members to meet shipping schedules and operational targets.
- Follow company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and maintain a clean, organised work area.

Required Experience & Skills





- Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial or mechanical setting.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor and industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to commute to Grafton, ON or relocate before starting.

Good to Have

- Prior experience with forklifts, loaders, excavators, compactors, or other heavy construction machinery.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery components and equipment systems.
- Mechanical repair, maintenance, or technician background.
