Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Architect with extensive experience in cloud computing, specifically within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. This role is crucial for driving our company's cloud strategy and ensuring the seamless integration and orchestration of various AWS services. The position is based in Toronto, ON, and requires a hybrid work model.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on cloud architecture
- Expertise in AWS Compute services such as AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, and EKS
- Proficiency in AWS Networking and Storage solutions, including VPC and AWS S3
- Experience with AWS Orchestration tools like AWS MWAA and Step Function
- Strong understanding of Big Data Compute services like EMR (Serverless), EMR on EC2, and Redshift
- Experience with CDC tools,



particularly AWS DMS
- Proficient in AWS Monitoring tools, including CloudWatch Notification & Logging
- Familiarity with AWS Athena, Lake Formation, and AWS Glue

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with DevOps tools such as Github Action, Terraform, and Terragrunt
- Knowledge of CodeBuild and SonarQube
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AWS services
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices
