Take on a key role at Hootsuite as a Revenue Accounting Manager, where you'll excel in financial reporting and compliance with ASC 606. We are in search of a Revenue Accounting Manager who can navigate complex accounting scenarios with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Accounting, you will own the revenue recognition process while partnering with various departments like Sales and FP&A.; Your expertise will ensure compliance and improve existing processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly revenue close including journal entries
- Oversee SSP analysis and frameworks
- Interpret contracts and collaborate with Legal on revenue impacts
- Ensure integrity of revenue systems and data
- Support revenue disclosures in financial statements Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA essential
- 8+ years in accounting, 2+ in revenue accounting
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Zoora preferred
- Robust analytical and detail-oriented approach
