Horticulture Technician - Full-Time GTA Route

Location: Initial route split between North York and Mississauga

Compensation: $23-$25/hour + vehicle allowance and gas reimbursement

Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

About Us The Interior Landscape Group (ILG) provides interior plant maintenance and installations across commercial, residential, and high-end spaces throughout the GTA. Our work ranges from consistent maintenance programs to custom installations, and we take pride in delivering clean, healthy, professionally maintained environments.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Horticulture Technician to take ownership of an established full time service route. You will work independently, drive between multiple client locations, care for interior plants, identify issues, and represent the company directly with clients.

The initial route is expected to include approximately three days per week in North York and two days per week in Mississauga. Route assignments may change over time based on client needs, team development, and business growth.

For the right person, there are opportunities to develop into additional responsibilities based on performance, aptitude, and business needs.

What You Will Be Doing

- Service interior plants across a scheduled commercial route.
- Drive between multiple client locations each day using your own reliable vehicle.
- Water, prune, clean, rotate, fertilize, and inspect plants.
- Identify pests, plant-health problems, irrigation issues, and site deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate service notes and communicate issues promptly.
- Work independently while managing time and route responsibilities.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with clients and building staff.




- Keep plant displays and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
- Occasionally assist with installations, replacements, and special projects.

Experience note: Plant or horticulture experience is an asset, but it is not required. We can teach the technical side; reliability, ownership, and attitude matter most.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G driver's licence.
- Reliable personal vehicle available every working day.
- Comfortable driving and working in both North York and Mississauga.
- Available for a regular weekday daytime schedule of approximately 40 hours.
- Comfortable using a mobile phone for schedules, maps, photographs, and service reporting.
- Able to perform the essential physical duties of the role, with accommodation where required.
- Able to work in offices, commercial buildings, residential spaces, and other client environments.

Compensation

- $23-$25/hour, based on experience and capability.
- Vehicle allowance and gas reimbursement.
- Approximately 40 hours per week.
