We are seeking a collaborative, growth-minded Human Resources Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis to support our front-line operations.
In this role, you will play a key part in partnering with leadership, driving positive employee relations, and supporting day-to-day HR administrative operations while working alongside a team dedicated to excellence. What You’ll Do: Front-Line Human Relations:
- Interact daily with associates and supervisory staff to build positive relationships.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and workplace policies.
- Assist managers with conflict resolution, conduct workplace investigations, mediate disputes, address conduct matters, and ensure company policies are clearly communicated and understood.
Full Associate Lifecycle Management
- Support all phases of the associate lifecycle, including facilitating onboarding, performance management, policy enforcement and coordinating smooth offboarding processes. Absence & Return-to-Work Coordination:
- Partner with Disability & Claims Manager to maintain timely communication with absent associates and support their return-to-work plans.
Payroll & Benefits Support:
- Ensure accurate compensation and benefits processing by transmitting associate changes, vacation pay, reimbursements,
and documentation to the payroll and benefits team.
Training & Associate Development:
- Help identify, schedule, and facilitate training sessions on Highline policies, providing coaching and keeping precise records of completion.
Engagement
- Assist with the organization and coordination of company events and celebrations to drive associate engagement.
- Facilitate engagement surveys and exit interviews to gather valuable insights into employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture. What You’ll Bring:
- Post secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of direct Human Resources experience required.
- Valid HR designation is considered an asset - Previous experience with the Temporary Foreign Worker Program is an asset - Previous experience and skills working with Microsoft programs and Human Resources Information Systems - Excellent interpersonal communications skills and skilled behaviours, specifically maintaining confidentiality and sensitive information or dealing with diverse personalities - Attention to detail and accuracy, appropriately balanced with the need to complete tasks Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm - This role may require occasional weekend or holiday availability to support operations and special events Benefits:
