We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Representative to join our team and take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on building and maintaining a robust training and development function.

Position Summary The Senior HR Representative will manage all core human resources functions across the organization, with special emphasis on developing, delivering, and tracking training programs required in a regulated aerospace maintenance setting. This role is critical to ensuring our workforce remains compliant, qualified, and continuously developed in line with Transport Canada and AS9100-series requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesOnboarding & Offboarding

- Manage end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including offer letters, new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and system/access setup
- Coordinate onboarding checklists across departments (QA, Operations, Payroll, IT)
- Conduct new employee orientations, including company policy, safety, and culture introductions
- Manage offboarding processes including exit interviews, final documentation, equipment/access return, and compliance-related record closure

Training Department Management
- Own and maintain the company's training department function
- Develop and deliver initial, recurrent, and additional training programs relevant to aerospace maintenance operations
- Design training curricula and materials in alignment with regulatory and quality system requirements (AS9100D/AS9110C/AS9120B)




- Coordinate and track On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs, ensuring proper sign-off and documentation
- Maintain a comprehensive training records database, including:
- Initial qualification training
- Update/recurrent training
- Additional/specialized training
- OJT hours, sign-offs, and competency tracking
- Build and manage training schedules to ensure all employees remain current on required certifications and qualifications
- Generate training compliance reports for audits and management review
- Issue certificates of completion for finished training

General HR Functions
- Create and maintain the company handbook and HR policies, ensuring updates are carried out in line with legislative changes
- Communicate and train employees on handbook and policy changes to ensure understanding and compliance
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR files
- Administer HR policies and ensure consistent application across departments
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment standards compliance
- Support performance management processes, including documentation of reviews and corrective actions
- Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Support compensation and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation (e.g., Ontario Employment Standards Act,



Occupational Health and Safety Act)
- Contribute to HR policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes and documentation
- Support internal and external audits related to HR and training records
- Hold Signing Authority status with the GTAA for Restricted Area Identification (RAIC) pass applications, providing administrative support and maintaining records of pass holders

Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience; experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated environment strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing corporate training programs
- Strong understanding of training record-keeping and compliance tracking systems
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across departments and all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and database/record management tools
- Familiarity with AS9100D/AS9110C/AS9120B quality systems and Transport Canada regulatory requirements is a strong asset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
